Hand crafted jewellery box made from cast antler buttons from NZ farmed Red deer in South Canterbury, New Zealand. The wood used for the finial is the NZ native wood Rimu.

A unique, precious gift for someone special.

The cast antler buttons were sourced from local South Canterbury deer farmers, then sent to Auckland to be carefully turned and polished by my father, Strett Nicolson, who is a member of the South Auckland Woodturners Guild.

Like most pieces of art, the time that has gone into each piece cannot realistically be charged for, so these items are really a labour of love for the craft of woodturning.

Hopefully these unique antler artworks will make a treasured gift for someone who has a connection with the NZ deer farming industry, deer hunting in NZ or just a fan of antler.
